Director - Ian P. Robins
The founder and president of Nampara Consulting is Ian Robins, an educator of forty years experience. A life long adventurer, Ian has had a variety of experiences in life, from musician, farmer and rancher, ski instructor and equestrian trainer. He has lived & worked in Australia, Austria, England and North America. His teaching career has taken him as far afield as semi-tropical Australia and the Northwest Territories of Canada. Thirteen of his forty years as an educator have been spent working with First Nations Communities in the sub-arctic and Alberta. His last seven years as a teacher have been spent working & developing programs & units of study in a cyber school environment where his Internet research and computer skills have been developed and honed.
Ian is widely read and has extended his knowledge and appreciation of many issues: political, geographical, cultural, economic, environmental and artistic. He has acted as facilitator for seminars on examining aboriginal content in curriculum, has taught legal studies and has been a life long student as well as teacher of history. His enthusiasm for research and information to enable the development of creative solutions and his commitment to engaging in such tasks ensure that Nampara Consulting will provide unique and productive answers to our clients' needs.
